2010 --> Twenty Ten

This is first day of new year i.e twenty ten . I am expecting more challenges this year too and prepared my arsenal to face them. In terms of Hypothesis I would say you should see it going on with more hypothesis this year with increased creativity and provoking ideas. By the way every one of us frames new years resolution. Some of the following resolutions I hypothesized which would be helpful for everyone for the better future.
1) Be Happy and follow the path of your dreams and aspirations ( Don't get moved away by pebbles coming on your way.) Many pebbles come one our way we have to be stable.( Believe there is always a solution to every problem ).
2) Try to save our planet from global warming by reducing carbon emissions.
3) Try to help people around you (Be kind and polite ). Express gratitude. Don't hurt anyone's personal emotions.
4) Try to embrace good qualities . If your a programmer try to follow good coding skills and apply design patterns and in 2011 you will see the change. Learn new languages.
5) Last but not the least be careful with strangers which comes on your way don't get deceived by them.
My main aim of 2010 is very amazing and lets see if I can achieve it. I have set some check points to achieve that.

Cute Muppets --> crazy idea

Elmo Muppet very funny... I got an idea why dont we develop an app to ask humans some questions and say which muppet suits their profile. Lets see if I can develop this.

Voila --> A New Kind of Science

Voila cellular automata was awesome longtime back I checked about this . Now I started reading a book by stephen wolfram a genius I was shocked with hit amazing intelligence and vision , he obtained a Ph.D. degree at the age of 20 he must be a prodigy. I was astonished by his way of thinking and vision. A started reading a book written by him "A New Kind of Science".
Universal Turing Machine: What is Turing Machine ? I will write more about this once I read precisely by dwelling into the subject.

princeton university library

WOW princeton university is awesome . Today after work I spent an hour and half or so at Princeton University Library, I went there to get a book on Data mining I was very excited to see the library . I was there at Princeton university last year for CISS conference. At that time I did not explore library. Today when I stepped into the campus I don't know some aura spread around which motivated me a lot may be this is the place where lot of noble laureates studied or worked. So I decided today that why don't I spend some days after office over here exploring new stuff and meeting people which is very exciting rather than babbling about unnecessary topics after work. Any way the essence of this post is Princeton university is awesome and library is too good don't think I am exaggerating things it is true.

"Across the Universe" Wonderful Song --> A story behind it

I listened to this song long time back I ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ this song very much , got good lyrics. This song is from Beatles and sung by Fionna Apple (Grammy Award Winner) . NASA transmitted this song to a distant planet I posted this song on the same day google added music to their search results. Lyrics of the song are as follows. Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cup They slither while they pass They slip away across the universe Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting thorough my open mind Possessing and caressing me Jai guru deva om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes That call me on and on across the universe Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe Jai guru deva om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my open ears exciting and inviting me Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns It calls me on and on across the universe Jai guru deva om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Jai guru deva Jai guru deva

Rubik's Cube

Last week end I met a friend from Germany he got a special talent given any random combination of Rubik's cube he would find solution in less than a minute. Then I asked how he is able to do it. He said there is no brain power required to do it. He followed 3 algorithms and thing worked out for him easily. So then I thought why would not I try to learn how this is done and now got chance to write about it I am not sure when I will try to find time about this.

What would you do if you were given a chance to time travel ?

When I was reading an article today about LHC and how people are commenting about it. Then a crazy thought came to my mind i.e what would any one do if given a chance to time travel. Everyone of us would be excited if we were given a chance to time travel. I am very excited to know which option many people might choose i.e whether they want to choose to go to past of future. I think many people would choose going to past. Now if we apply condition that nothing can be changed what you can do is just see. Then obviously many people choose to go to future.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer--> Siemens Caring Hands

This Weekend I am planning to attend Siemens caring hands event to walk for 5 miles in an event known as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer . My strides to pass on a message to the people. Because breast cancer is the second most cancer after lung cancer with which people die and this can be treated in the early stages. Everyone of you participate in such kind of social activities and help mankind and enlighten people around you. Finally I went to the walk today and the weather was very bad. http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?sid=16393&type=fr_informational&pg=informational&fr_id=19811

Assessing Human Nature Algorithmically

Many people write blogs and tweet on twitter and scrap on social networking sites. So there is lot of information about a particular person so many people loose their privacy on these social networking site and micro blogging sites. Based on this information we can asses the persons nature easily using simple keyword detection algorithms. Following is the procedure how we can easily implement this.
1) first obtain the data feed for a blog or twitter account in the form of RSS or any XML format.
2) Do stop word removal and do stemming and word frequency on the feed. We finally obtain word features for this document.
3) Then based on the word frequency and type of words used on the web page we can asses the persons nature and interests.
for example if the person is writing lot about space related stuff it indicates that he is interested in astronomy,
4) finally we can cluster all blogs and twitter accounts on social networking websites to set of groups so that some intelligence can be extracted.
In future a day comes social networking sites suggesting the friends nature so that you can decide whether we can do friendship with a stranger or so.
Why take the pain on us machines are smart enough these days can do anything using Algo's .
Next Step for me develop this algo is to decide which programming language to use and which keywords should be used to predict different kinds of people.
I am thinking of implementing this as a web service so that if you give a URL algorithms analyzes the blog content and returns a set of tagged words.
Picture is from my favorite movie star wars.
Robot decides whether to make a friend or not by visiting his social networking and tweets online . robot just needs few seconds to asses the human nature.

cosas a considerar --> things to ponder

1)Does wireless communication works near black holes?

I am not sure about this because light even cant escape out of black holes.
2) Why major rivers on earth flow from North to South ?
But there are some rivers that flow south to north example: Nile

Bhagavad Gita ---> Gateway to moksha

Even if we are techie we have to abide and follow our traditions and listen what elders teach us. I give lot of importance and utmost respect to traditions and people beliefs, my mother taught me many good things to do since childhood. let me start with a good story long time back happened, In vijayawada every year book exhibition happens around January time. So when I was in engineering I used to visit the book festival every year and find out what interesting books came and one year my mother asked me bobby get me a nice book from the book exhibition so that she don't get bored at home and she hated stupid TV serials, then I searched rigorously entire book festival and finally came home with one very good book which came to my thought which would be great if my mother starts reading it that is "Bhagavad Gita" I landed up started reading the book which contains many good words. When I am coming to USA for my higher studies also she placed Hhagavad Gita in my luggage. So I want to remember each word told by Lord Krishna again and trying to design a web app in which I will start writing each sloka taught by lord krishna to arjuna

Future marriages -->Bringing social networking close to marriages

I am extremely brain storming these days for an idea that would be good to start up a company. So here is an idea I am thinking may be this one might turn up to reality.
There is a proverb "Marriages are made in heaven" but with my idea marriages can be made on the web. Here I am not talking anything about e-marriage or any thing like that.
These days globalization had made our friends even globally located. I have many friends in USA, India, UK, Aus so what happens if any important event is happening in your life and want to invite all your friends and unfortunately they will not be able to make it the function and wish you. Today I expressed my idea to one of my friends about what can be done for your friends to wish you even though they are located remotely during the time of function. He was very happy with the idea and he wants this to implemented in his marriage that is going to take place soon. I don't want to reveal the entire idea over here and want to be secret until we develop this app.
Once we have a preview I can display it over here stay tuned.
Sorting out the steps how to work out the app
1) We have to write gadget
2) we have to embed this gadget on the webpage
Based on the above steps following is the preview.

Did India really got Independence? -->My Musings on India's Independence

India got independence on Aug 15th 1947 from British. I am not going to babble following words are my Musings about current India. India is a country with lot of diversity and history.
In my view India did not really get independence from poverty, corruption, illiteracy, population growth.
If I were given a chance to change India to get Independence from above said factors. I would do the following. I always believe every human is blessed with a special talent, the one who shines if he is able to figure out what it is. Defacto we don't have discipline.
In order to inculcate discipline why don't Indian government implement following idea this is based on the trend I observed. These days I see lot of engineers instead of doctors(life saving gods) , lawyers, artists which is kind of both good and bad. So following rule seems to be martinet but this is how we can overcome laziness in people.
A student who is willing to enter Engineering or any other streams equivalent to it should spend 1 year at Indian Army and get trained.
You can ask what is the use by doing so. Students are going to learn lot of discipline which is very important these days which build self confidence, motivation and respect towards others. One year is pretty much enough for a grown up to learn things. How to avoid corruption? Lot of politicians give speeches about this youth also get encouraged about this. But I believe in "Do your job perfect." and everything will be all right. I think Indian government should remove reservation policy and consider everyone as equal. Because now a days I see there is no point in discriminating people by religion, caste, creed . Only concern I have is there are lot of middle class families even in upward castes. I think government should provide assistance to students who are not able to pay for their tution. I feel horrible thing on earth is stopping education because of lack of money. Money should not be stopping barrier for education. Working on representing India statistically on one graph. The following will be updated soon

IP address based article publishing

Today I got another amazing idea. I want to publish the content based on location the people are coming from. Let us suppose if people from India are reading my blog. I want to display content in hindi and if user is from japan I want to publish content in japanese. So my idea is to make webpages intelligent so that they know where the reader is coming from and the webpage itself changes according to locale of person. Similarly we can restrict reading some parts of webpage based on the location where user is coming from. I call this technology as locale based publishing of webpages. I will try to develop this idea. So that if people from India try to read following message they will see in Hindi and people from other locations see in english. It is very simple to implement this idea and it seems to me amazing as we can develop smart webpages. I envision a day comes where webpages talk each other.

Time is so precious once gone cannot be back

As I was reading a science fiction novel which is about time travel and thought of to design a clock gadget using my programming skills. So time can never be bought back. Following is simple clock gadget I developed using actionscript, Flex, Degrafa( declarative graphics).
I just took half an hour to develop this clock.
If you are not able to view the gadget visit the link Click Me to View gadget try to implement and see if you have an idea and make it real don't think it is not possible everything is possible in this world there are no boundaries, sky is not even a limit we can go beyond that.

The Time Travelers Wife---> A story blend of science fiction and romance

Some one on line was talking about this novel which is a mixture of science fiction and romance. I pretty doubt if I will like this book. So if I get time this weekend I want to start reading this novel which has an interesting story of time travel and some bit of romance. Last night I read 50 pages out of 358 pages and thought of commenting out.
This book is amazing and story is about Henry and Clare . I liked authors narration of the story he jumps from one time period to another time period which is very amazing. And liked the caring nature of clare and patience she has and love towards henry. Pretty good book and a movie is also going to be released based on this book. First I want to finish reading the book.

Can we travel faster than light ?

I am very excited to write this post. Last night I asked my friend why light velocity is constant ? and next day suddenly an article appeared to me stating that we can decrease velocity of light. WOW amazing my doubts are not so silly they have lot of hidden meaning. Lene hau professor from harvard university decreased velocity of light to 38 mph so she prooved that we can travel even faster than light on an interstate. After reading the article I believe in future lot of new technologies evolve in wireless communication. This is how we have to reduce the light velocity . A cloud of sodium atoms are cooled to billionth of absolute zero and light is passed through this cloud and the velocity of light decreases inside the cloud and once the light comes outside of this cloud it attains it original speed. I was shocked how is it possible may be we have to go through lot of quantum physics to understand this. You can access the article at the following link How to decrease velocity of light ? After reading this anything is possible in this world and man can do anything if he has the will and determination to do things.

Solar System Surveillance & search for extra terrestrial life

Today I got an amazing idea regarding solar system surveillance. I am not sure if NASA or any space agency has worked in this direction. My idea is to surveillance our solar system or search for extra terrestrial life on other planets. We all know about comets and asteroids which are are huge revolving bodies around sun or some times even they go on unknown trajectories. My idea is to launch a surveillance module onto a best known comet or asteroid and make the module land over there. As the comet revolves the surveillance system on the comet stores the information of space around the comet as it goes on. The challenges you might face in this project are 1)Power Module 2)Communication Module This Project should be done in 2 phases first of all you have to analyze which comet is best suitable for our surveillance purpose which might take some time. Next we have to launch the system onto the comet when it is closer to earth. So in phase 1 we will launch the module onto the comet when it comes closer to earth and the module reaches the comet and it starts scanning the space around it as comet revolves or goes around its trajectory this module stores the information and communicates to earth. As the comet travels far away from earth communication will fail and all the information is backed up on memory of the module. When again comet comes closer to earth all the data backed up will be uploaded to earth. Why space agencies are not thinking in this direction for searching extra terrestrial life.

Machine Learning Miracles

I envision future of computer science relies in machine learning , now a days everyone talk about IT boom and dot com burst so on. This has reached a saturation point. Even a high school grade student can wonderfully write programs in Java or any programming language so whats great in writing programs and now in CS community lot of people are doing research in applying machine learning algorithms to various field like cancer research, .etc. This post will be a good resource for various kinds of machine learning algorithms. "Organizing world's Machine Learning Algorithms "
A day comes in future where machines will be ruling the world and more intelligent than human brain. There is slight chance that 3 laws of asimov might also be broken.

Moon Walk --> celebrating 40 years of Apollo 11

Great Astronauts Neil Amstrong, Buzz aldrin, Michael Collins conquered success no other human has ever achieved by stepping on an alien land which is none other than moon. But dream and vision of John F Kennedy should not end with moon it should continue and move forward, in next 10 years I envision humans going to mars and start colonizing moon and even traveling to beat the time. On the auspicious occasion of 40 years of moon landing I have to remember a famous line "One small step by a man is a giant to leap to mankind". I unveil a logo that I designed for NASA on this day. Working on this I will post that soon.

Weight VS Mass (A mistake everyday we do)

If any one asks you how to loose weight? you suggest them go for a change in your diet. But I would give a funny suggestion go to moon your weight will be reduced by 1/6 times of your actual weight, yeah this is true , you guys not gonna believe ok lets go ahead and see how can we do this. weight is actual force with which earth attracts us i.e m*g ( mass multiplied by gravity) so it should be expressed in Newtons but we express weight as pounds and kg's in our daily life..

Harry Potter Mania ( Welcome to world of imagination)

May be I am the last person to start reading Harry Porter novel in this world. I heard people reading this book not eating food and even no sleep continuously till they finish reading it, what kind of mania is it. I also want to experience Harry Potter mania. So got to go get first part of potter series...... "Harry Porter and the philosopher's stone" There is a long way to go .. Harry in seven colors of rainbow as follows.. So I colored each book and its very exciting to start reading each book. I colored this series because it remembered me the days of my undergrad where I read various electronic devices and circuits books named as black pad, yellow pad , white pad which are amazing series of electronics books which imprinted in my mind every concept. So mission violet will start soon....
1)Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone
2)Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
3)Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
4)Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
5)Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
6)Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
7)Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I got the book and started reading it ......yahoooooooo Harry was awesome

Compressing World Wide Web---> Let's make the web faster

You all might know technology might get to a saturation point and we have to think about ideas to optimize the technology and make it even better with in the given constraints where optimization plays a major role. I worked on this kind of optimization for my thesis. It's a long back story, current idea is how to make web faster with in the given constraints...lets brain storm for few seconds got any idea....In the fraction of a second an idea sparkled in me to make web faster with the following idea. One more interesting there was recent survey from Google that 400ms of latency reduced their daily search average by 0.4% which is huge number for Google. Click the following link to have look at the research results. Now lets get back to the idea to make web faster. Following is the idea. You all might be aware of compression techniques, we can compress the web pages on server side and serve the compressed formatted to users, where the data that needs to be transmitted over the network is very less and on the client side browser takes care of uncompressing the file and display user. By sending compressed format over the we save lot of bandwidth ans also improve the network speed. I am not sure if this area got lot of potential to do research. But I am really interested in doing some research in this area and post some results...... To be frank this technology already exists after getting this idea I researched on the web that there are technologies existing on these lines but with some limitations.

Leet Translator---> A way to Mungeing Passwords

You might not understand the post title pretty confusing we will go through the title explanation soon meanwhile lets go through one example ....just hit the following link Google Hacked . Don't get panicked google is not hacked it is coded in l33t programming language a new way to encode or encrypt the data. Leet is a dialect for english language evolved over time by programmers. If one of your keys on the keyboard is not working for example letter 'g'. we want to pass a message to other person then how would we represent character 'g' we can represent this using number '9'. In olden days due to keyboard malfunctioning programmers used to replace characters with numbers and reduce load on frequently used letter keys. This can also be used to encrypt the data. By converting normal english to Leet version Entropy also increases. If you are a cryptography expert leet can be used as substitution cipher. So using this we can make the existing password stronger this is called mungeing (means making stronger). I am very exited about this 1337(LEET) language and want to write a leet translator in javascript, just we have to do some regex work in javascript. Pretty interesting language right Some examples of english to leet translations are as follows. LEET--->133T CAT---->(@ Internationlization---->i18N

Detecting whether male or female brain( Human cognition)

Play the following game and program will automatically tell which gender you are... I got an idea which might be interesting to you folks which might be crazy, but try to think how can we answer such type of human cognitive and Psychology related questions. Idea is as follows.(Think in terms of business perspective) Now a days there are zillion shopping websites which sale apparel, electronic items etc. now I want to track how many male users and female users have visited the website so that we can think on business strategies targeting those set of user's more. let us suppose by doing some research if we discover this shopping website is being used by male users a lot so we can target the male customers a lot by posting many items related to them and we can also think what went wrong on with female users. For making business decisions this topic is main. so the question is how can we detect male and female users visiting the website with out doing Q&A how can we detect in an intelligent way male vs female. You cant answer this question by the physical appearance of the user so the only option left is based on human cognition. In order to find a good solution to the above problem I started my research as follows. I went through one Ph.D. dissertation which explained about difference between male and female brain in many ways. Then I thought using this question we can even some more interesting things like we can find the shopping patterns on online website male Vs female and many other human behavioral trends. Answer 1: I thought of one way which is an algorithmic way. I will take few questions and get the answers from bunch of users and train my classification algorithm with that data so that it gets trained and now keep on testing with new data and the same time training. so that classifier can decide which class the user belongs to. I have to think little bit more precise this way of doing. If you guys got any good ideas for the question please comment it out so that we can share the ideas and views.

Data Intensive Super Computing

At work I write programs to process huge amounts of data. I am trying to learn over the weekend a new way of processing such huge amounts of data using existing frameworks like HADOOP. Many companies like Yahoo, NY Times, IBM, Siemens, NASA use hadoop to crunch terabytes of data. Especially NASA uses many super computers for various scenarios for solving mysteries of universe. It is very challenging to work with such huge data sets and extracting meaningful results out of it using algorithms. So in this post I will write how to build a super computer using Hadoop i.e configuring the system and run jobs on this super computer to process tera bytes of data.

Twittifying the world (Idea to make objects twitter)

The post title might be confusing to you guys.. Now a days we hear a lot about twitter which is a micro blogging service. On which people can post what they are doing and follow other friends what they are doing. My idea is marketing strategy which might help twitter to gain some more bucks. We can make non living and brain less things also join twitter like trains, buses, cars, what not even a Book store. Scenario is as follows. Let us suppose if you are waiting for a bus and want to know the current location where the bus is and so on. Or you want to know what are current new books that were added to the collection in your nearest library. with my idea Bus can post the status of the current location to twitter every 10 min or what ever time interval so that all people can follow the bus and see the updates on. For the bus to post the tweets it needs to have a GPS which is connected to a mobile where the mobile sends the coordinates as SMS to the twitter and on twitter we can add google maps and see the data in real time on google maps. The idea might not be new, but the concept here I am trying to prove is how existing technologies can be leveraged for the comfort of mankind

Idea to Generate Electricity

Today I was thinking of ways to generate electricity without harming the environment, we all know there are many ways to generate electricity from sun water, wind. I assume why no one is thinking of earth. I got a very very amazing idea to generate electricity from earth. We all might have studied in our school that earth is a huge magnet and we also studied if a conductor cuts a magnetic field electricity is generated . Now apply the above two concepts to generate electricity. earth is huge revolving magnet. My idea is if we place a conductor in the earths magnetic field we can generate electricity. I think by doing this way we are using the untapped energy of earth.

America's Astronauts---> What Bravery Means

Probability of becoming an astronaut is 5.89904178 × 10-8, i.e only 400 out of 6,780,762,416 population got chance to become astronauts who revealed the secrets of universe. These people have reached the heights no other human has ever reached, Watch the following video , I always admire the bravery of NASA astronauts which each men should have. There are no words to describe if you are one of them .

Dynamic Radio Broadcast (Raghu Trying to bring technology close to common man)

My Idea will change the world. In future while driving car you can hear google news via radio using my following idea. I am witting a proposal to see how it can be commercialised. Today we have so much of structured data on the web. We have to find a way to get that data to the common people who even don't know how to use computer. If give a chance to me I would start a radio broadcasting station which provides very fast service of news to that common man for 0$ investment. Idea is as follows. I would use google news as my source to my news broadcasting company. As google news is updated every second which gives me upto date information. I will write a program fetch google news then I use Text to speech software which converts google news data to voice and the I am going to broadcast the voice to the people. With this idea I am bringing google news to common man with 0$ of investment. See for implementing my idea I dont need any workforce all is done by machine. Working prototype of the ideas as follows. I think US government should consider such type of ideas in this kind of recession. For my broadcast company there will be no layoffs as there are no employees.

Trends by Raghu

In this world of growing information, it would be great if we can visualize how many documents are published on web on a daily basis. I got an idea to display how many documents are published on WWW every year for a particular keyword. So I thought of implementing this idea and I dont have any hardware resource to do any computation, I brainstormed for an hour and figured out a way to use google search api. But then I fall into trap where google ajax api lacks a feature and I hacked the api in a smarter way and obtained the results. I am also done with this app, I was very excited to post so that you can search anything see the frequency of number of documents published on WWW every year. Ingredients used to build this app are: Flex, ActionScript, JSON, Google Search Api, REST I have to do some final touches and I am tired to make these final changes I will post it tommorow sometime. It took me 2.5 hours to develop the entire app which looks cool.

Where is Science and Technology Leading us ??

I was thinking last night where science and technology leading us these days. In my view what we are doing with science is Re Inventing the Past. Let me tell a simple example, in Indian Mythology there is a god known as Anjaneya where he crossed the ocean in single jump. My reason how he is able to do that is we all know in physics a projectile when launched at an angle 45o was able to achieve maximum range, Now let's get back to lord anjaneya how he applied above concept to cross the ocean,he climbed a highest mountain range and from there he jumped at an angle of 45o so that he was able to achieve maximum range and cross the ocean, I dont know whether my logic is right or wrong but I think this sounds logically reasonable. I will continue this with more examples I thought of.....

Training Data for your algorithm to crack Google Captcha

Hey folks I wrote a small script to get various CAPTCHA images from google server, Click on submit query button in the following frame and see what happens. Just let me know if you want more data, I don't think google server will be over headed with these requests. If you are familiar with REST based web services I think you can do these kind of stuff easily.

Achieving Childhood Dreams

Everyone of us dream during our childhood what to achieve in future. But only a few are lucky and strive hard to achieve these. For example if you dream after watching star wars to invent time machine, may be the dream is crazy and you think you can do as you are not aware of Einstein's physics. One of them is Randy Pausch. Watch the following video very inspiring.

Channel Capacity of Human Brain & Magic Number 7

You might be wondering how can we compute the channel capacity of human brain.. Yes it is possible, as I am from wireless communication back ground I studied a lot about shannon information capacity theorem in my undergrad and grad. Today when I was going through one of the research paper's from 1956, very interesting paper which applies the same concepts and terminology of information theory to human psychology and computes Channel Capacity of human brain as 2.5 bits. While I was reading this paper I got answer's to lot of questions and many mysteries I had from childhood, my father always tries to add all the digits in any number he finds, like bank account number, my identification number etc., and he check's whether they round up to number 9 or not. I asked him all the time why do you do so? He said no reason (May be lucky number or may be his channel capacity is greater than 3 bits), this paper explained why he is doing so. This is human psychology. This paper also revealed some interesting facts about number 7. why number 7 is so magical, some facts are as follows. Number seven plays a major role in many people's life's. 1) Seven colors 2) Seven wonders of the world 3) Seven Days in a week 4) Seven seas 5) Seven deadly Sins Similarly I found analogy related to number seven 1) Lord Venkateswara resides on SEVEN hills (ఏడు కొండలవాడ) 2) Indian Music Swaras "Sa" "Ri" "Ga" "Ma" "Pa" "Dha" "Ni" (Saptha Swaralu) 3) what is the windows next OS?? i.e Windows 7( It also has number 7) Now you find some other analogies how number seven touches you >>>>>>> You can access the paper at following link The Magical Number Seven, Plus or Minus Two: Some Limits on Our Capacity for Processing Information

π Day -->Pi Day ( Hurray Raghu's name found in PI)

we all know about mathematical constant π. π has lot of importance in the history of mankind, there are many unsolved puzzles related to this mathematical constant. So many mathematicians and scientists celebrate Pi day to remember the importance of this mathematical constant. This is celebrated on March 14th of every year. Reason behind pi day to celebrate on this day is as follows. π (pi)=3.14 3 is used as month(March) and 14th is used as day. I love this mathematical constant a lot because this has lot of interesting things and many mysteries. One interesting thing, few people can find their name in this mathematical constant. Check whether you can find your name or not at the following link Search my Name in PI I found my name in π at 14500426 digit. awesome "raghu" see whether you can find your name..

Raghu's idea to make Ipod shuffle more innovative

I got an idea after seeing the new ipod shuffle to make it more smart. I am thinking how can we use natural gestures to play music in ipod. I am working on this which kind of gestures makes more sense to play next song without touching ipod just by some natural gestures. My idea is as follows.... see the video below and then I will explain what kind of natural gestures can be used to select the songs and play next song.

Web Accessibility for visually impaired

Today I thought how visually impaired people can access web pages and use google search engine. Then I dwelled for sometime whether google is providing this kind of feature for visually impaired. Finally I figured this link for Google Accessible Then I got an idea how to develop web application's such that these become accessible to visually impaired people. So then I thought can we develop a Javascript library to convert text to speech, but I am not sure about this. So I developed a small application which converts text to speech using the Microsoft API. Try to open the blog in internet explorer. Enter the text you want to convert to speech and press Listen Button. Just enable activex in your browser and you can hear the text you typed

Camouflaging privacy data from search engines

Today when I was going through one of the articles about status of privacy of the information online, I was thinking how can we protect privacy data from falling into prey of google. Lets take the example of blogs information, usually everyone write some personal information in blogs, I would not prefer search engines to index that content, then you might ask what is the point in publishing the post. usually you want your blog to be read by your friends or colleagues not by the search engines. So I got a brilliant idea to cheat the search engines from indexing the blog information. The idea is as follows. We write the blog in encrypted format and store it. Then when a person wants read the article he clicks a button to decrypt and the javascript will do the decryption on the fly in your browser and show the content so that user can read. In this way when search engines try to index the data on our blog they index the encrypted text which is meaningless and our privacy is protected from indexing. Working demo of the idea is as follows. Below is encrypted text which contains my privacy data. If you are interested click on the button to get the decrypted text.

Raghu's View on Bio-Informatics

After coding a lot in Java and obtaining certification, I thought it would be cool if I switch to a programming language which is good for mankind not commercial purpose. I have a dream to help mankind some how, so I thought lets start doing some research in my free time to study about Bio-informatics , I thought this field is very interesting because we can save millions of people by inventing new things in this field, i.e by finding patterns about cancer and many dreadful diseases. Applying machine learning and pattern recognition into this field, for this we need a programming language to start doing some thing so I chose "R" programming language. Lets apply all the knowledge I had in various fields for the better of mankind. So I started learning "R" Programming language its very powerful. Dont think that I started learning this because the name starts with "R", "R" is not for Raghu. I heard Google is using this programming language I want to taste the flavor of it... Ok folks I will try to learn about this language and give a feedback and my view on how it can be applied for the Bio-informatics field.

Andhra Pradesh Interactive Map

I got an idea to develop an interactive map of Andhra Pradesh . As the election season is ahead I thought it would be cool to come up with this kind of map to interactively display the statistics on the map. Hope some one will come to me some day asking me for this interactive map. I am planning to develop this prototype over the weekend, I also want to evaluate this with google maps. How wonderful dot com world is .............. Day1: Interactive map progress is going good as I am busy preparing for certification exam I assigned this task to my brother , he is rolling up this task very fast. He sent me a screen shot of what he didHopefully by weekend I should have the SWF file then I will do the programming and show how we can display stats on this map... Good work brother... Sorry folks I will try to wrap the map feature soon , as my brother got job he is enjoying so the work got delayed.....

Double O companies

I want to introduce a name to the emerging companies, now-adays we are hearing a lot about these companies , so I want to coin a new term to represent these 3 companies i.e "Double O companies". I found a pattern in these company names i.e all the 3 companies have two O's in their company names. so I thought it would be great for the users to coin the term "Double O Companies". I am writting this post just for fun , it is no way related officially to the companies.

Google chrome open doors for distributed computing via browser

My awaited version of web browser that is suitable for distributed computing is going to be released i.e google chrome , with advent of chrome we will be able to develop very interesting apps, chrome is not just a browser it is a sand box where you can do some computation which is not possible with the current world browsers as they are not multi-threaded. we can develop some java script libraries that can be re usable to do this distributed computing. I will come up with an architecture of this java script library with in a few weeks after chrome is released.

Future Restaurants

Currently we are using the technology to solve the daily incurring problems by developing different softwares but in this way we are not thinking of our health which is very important. So this article explains a new way to use the existing technology to help the people be conscious about health. In this way I explored this solution to be applied to restaurants where the problems lies by developing a technology named AOME( Automatic Online menu Editor).

This Idea was developed as a Solution to Obesity problems in developing countries like USA, Europe, everyone of us think daily when we go to restaurant what to eat , whether it fits my diet or not.... all the questions have answer with this solution that is nothing but a web application name Automatic Menu editor.

The above statistics indicate the growing problem of obesity in USA. So we came up with a technology which could help the people in maintain their diet. lets go ahead 2 to 3 years ahead and see how this technology effects people.
Prototype of this System can be seen as follows

Lets See how existing technology could be leveraged to build this application.
